Portfolio Analysis
What is it? Portfolio Analysis is adapted and developed from the work of Peter Kraljic (1983). It is a way to classify and determine the most appropriate strategic response for a category you are buying, according to the profit impact and supply risk or market difficulty.
How does it work? This learning module will ensure you understand the principles and be able to use the tool to successfully complete a portfolio analysis of your own.
What is the structure of the course? It is 60 minutes of eLearning and comprises of 2 microlearning modules; an explanation video and an interactive, challenge-based eLearning module.
Who is it suitable for? Novice to Expert.
When is it useful? Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management and generally when assessing profit impact of a purchase.
