Competency Assessment
The price quoted is per candidate.
This assessment has two stages. First, you complete an online self‑assessment where you rate your own skills and give examples. Then, you take part in a 1–2 hour interview with an expert who reviews your answers and confirms your scores.
Stage 1
An online, self‑paced assessment where you score yourself on each competency based on clear level descriptions and provide supporting examples. This takes about 1–2 hours.
Stage 2
A 1–2 hour interview with a procurement expert or line manager. They go through your answers with you, discuss each area in detail, and confirm or adjust your competency scores.

- A detailed 25‑point assessment covering 5 core competency areas in modern strategic procurement

- An individual summary report and a development plan (covering both training and non‑training activity), agreed with the candidate
- A full team report and data pack, including explanations of key findings, standout performers, and recommendations (for a minimum of 10 persons)
- Personal development plans that link directly to your learning path in the Procleus Virtual Learning Environment
- Option to repeat the assessment regularly to monitor progress

- Customisation options, including training internal managers to carry out the interviews
Please note: The above prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and may be subject to UK VAT, or the local equivalent in the customer’s country of purchase, at the prevailing rate, dependent on the status of the customer (B2B or B2C) and the nature of the products being purchased. If you are a B2B customer for our services in the RoW you may find that you need to account for VAT in your country under the reverse charge mechanism.
